🌟 Life After Death: Where Do We Go From Here?
By Rev. Sharon Renae | Spiritually Centered
What happens when we die?
It’s one of the most profound and persistent questions we ask—and in this deeply personal episode, I share my own experiences, beliefs, and spiritual understanding of what lies beyond the veil.
👻 The Visitor at the End of My Bed
I was just three years old the first time I saw someone from the other side. His name was Daryl. He appeared in my bedroom and told me he had wasted his life in drunken ignorance. I didn’t know what those words meant back then, but I was taught to respect adults—living or dead.
That experience opened a doorway that’s never quite closed.
As a spiritual medium and Unity minister, I’ve had countless interactions with souls who’ve crossed over—and others who are stuck between worlds. These moments have shaped what I believe about life, death, energy, and eternity.
⚡ We Are Energy—and Energy Doesn’t Die
From a metaphysical standpoint, life is energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it simply transforms. That means our essence—our soul—is eternal. Death, then, isn’t an end but a transition.
But not every soul crosses over easily.
Some remain in what I call “the gray space”—a kind of spiritual purgatory. Why? Fear. Guilt. Misbeliefs about divine judgment. I’ve met souls too afraid to go into the light, worried they’d be cast out, unworthy, or burned in eternal punishment.
✝️ The Many Mansions of Heaven
Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” To me, that means there are many dimensions of existence. We go where we’re aligned—what we believe, expect, or energetically match. Heaven, hell, and everything in between are not so much destinations as vibrational realities.
Some souls land in beautiful realms of peace. Others linger, haunted by the life they left behind. And some simply don’t realize they’ve died.
💫 Reincarnation Isn’t Punishment—It’s Opportunity
I believe we come back. Not as punishment, but as an opportunity to grow, learn, and become more aligned with our divine truth. Reincarnation allows the soul to evolve, to course-correct, and to remember that God is not outside us—but within.
That’s what Jesus’s resurrection was trying to show: the soul continues. Life is eternal.
🌠 Crossing Over & Healing
Much of my work as a medium is about helping stuck souls move on—to guide them through the light, where healing and transformation await. Some need time. Some need grace. But all can move forward.
Serving the dead is part of serving the living—because when we make peace with death, we begin to live more fully.
🌿 What Do You Believe?
Have you ever felt the presence of someone who’s passed? Do you believe in life after death—or are you still exploring that question?
There’s no one right answer. Only the invitation to stay open.
Until next time…
Breathe. Rest. Receive.
And let love fly.
Namaste,
Rev. Sharon Renae
